Waterkloof Wine Tasting Lounge
Finally, in 2009 a state-of-the-art gravitational cellar, tasting room, and the restaurant was constructed on the Schapenberg and Waterkloof began exporting its unique wines around the world.
Onderkloof is situated in the historical wine region of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. The sea and the nearest town, Somerset West, are only 6 kilometers away. The name Onderkloof means “below the valley” and comes from the Pass which leads over the Hottentots Holland Mountains.
Capelands Restaurant has achieved a Top 100 SA Wines List Award and together with the Art Series Collection featuring estate wines Redstone and Whitestone are what wine lovers can expect. The Whitestone Chenin Blanc features a painting of a protea on the label and is dedicated to the natural beauty of South Africa.
