The beaches around Gordon’s Bay are renowned for their long stretches of white sandy beaches, secluded rocky coves and warm waters.

Strand beach

This beach stretches for 5 kilometres along the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountain. Surfing is popular especially for beginners. There is an array of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and cafes along the promenade.

Gordon’s Bay Beach

Is considered to be one of the safest swimming beaches along the coast due to its shallow reefs and calm waters

Bikini Beach

Is a small man made beach near the yacht basin in Gordon’s Bay. This beach is popular for sunbathing as it is protected from the wind.

Kogel Bay

A short 5 minute drive outside Gordon’s Bay along the scenic Clarence drive towards Rooi Els will bring you to one of the most beautiful, unspoilt beaches in Cape Town. This is a 4km stretch of white sandy beach, protected from the wind by the mountains above. Located in the Kogelberg Biosphere reserve, surrounded by nature. This is also a very popular surfing destination.
